GENERAL

Q: Is this a real website?

A: This is 100% a legitimate website.  I have an IRS registered business and hold a business license in the state of Florida.

Q: Is it safe to pay through this website?

A: My website is a Shopify platform.  Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and used by many small businesses as well as many large brands, such as Hasbro and Red Bull. Payments can be made through Shopify Payments, Paypal, Apple Pay, & Google Pay. I do not ever see or have access to any of your payment information.

Q: Why am I not being charged state sales tax on my order?

A: Because I am still a relatively small retailer, I am only required to charge and remit sales tax to the state of Florida, as it is the only state where I have economic nexus.  Each state has it's own threshold at which an online retailer is required to charge and remit sales tax for that particular state and at this point, I have not hit any of those thresholds. 

Q: I have a question that isn't answered in FAQ or policies.  How can I get in contact with you?

Q: What kinds of items do you stock in your store?

A: I will mainly be stocking current Czech glass beads in my store with a focus on fruit beads.  Some vintage beads and findings will be available as well. Beads will be mainly single hole non-seed beads but I occasionally may have a few multi-hole, seeds, or bugles. 

Q: Is it possible to purchase more of a particular bead than is in stock at your store?

A: Possibly and it never hurts to ask.  I may have additional inventory of a particular bead or may be able to re-order so please click the contact link for any availability inquiries. 

Q: Are the colors I see in photos exactly as they appear in real life?

A: I try very hard to get photos that accurately reflect the colors of the various beads.  However, due to differences in device settings, lighting, individual perception of color, and a whole lot of other factors, there will usually be some variation in color and tone.

Q: How can I tell what size something is? How are they drilled?

A: Product dimensions and drill orientation information should be included in description of each product.  In addition, most products have a photo showing size comparison with a US dime as well as one demonstrating drill orientation.

Q: Will you ever be stocking ______  beads in your store?

A: Maybe!  I am always open to suggestions so throw it out there to me.  If there is enough interest or you want to purchase a significant quantity, I can possibly make it happen. Click the contact link with any product suggestions. 

Q: If I sign up for your e-mail list, how often will I receive e-mails?

A: Probably not more often than once a month.  

 

SHIPPING

Q: Do you ship outside of the US?

A: At this time, I am able to ship within the US and have recently made shipping available to Canada as well.  I am hoping to be able to provide shipping to other countries in the future.

Q: How long will it take to get my order?

A: I generally ship pretty quickly, usually the next day and sometimes I am even able to get orders shipped the same day they are submitted.  Most orders will ship via USPS First Class package service which includes tracking and usually takes 2-4 business days to arrive depending on your location.

Q: USPS tracking shows my item as delivered but it did not arrive.

A: This does occasionally happen and it usually is due to a scanning error by postal employee.  Your item will likely arrive the next day.  If your package is showing as delivered and you still haven't gotten it within a couple of days, please check with neighbors.  If it still isn't located, USPS scanners have GPS enabled which will allow them to figure out exactly where your package was delivered.  Still not resolved?  Please contact me and I can help figure out how to proceed and come up with a solution.  

Q: I received my order but it is incorrect or has a broken/defective bead/beads.

A: Despite my best efforts, I do occasionally make an error in an order or allow a damaged bead to slip past me.  Please contact me as soon as possible and provide a photo or photos so I can see what went wrong.  I try to hold back a small number of each type of beads on hand for situations like this.  I will do everything I can to satisfactorily resolve the issue. 

Q: Am I able to use my wholesale/resale license so that I do not need to pay sales tax?

A: Yes, absolutely!  You will need to set up a customer account on the site and then e-mail me your license/certificate information.  Once I have received it, I can adjust your account so that you are not charged sales tax on any future purchases.

RETURNS

Q: How do I return items that don't work for me?

A: Full returns policy and details can be located under "Refund Policy" on my website but short answer is that returns can be mailed to the address below.  Buyer is responsible for return postage and orders that received $35+ free shipping promotion and return items that bring order value below $35 will have actual shipping charge deducted from refund amount a the order no longer qualifies for promotion.  I do ask that you provide either your invoice number, full name, or some identifying information with return packages to help me expedite your refund for returned items.
